I often reread my favorite mystery and thriller book series; some I’ve loved for over two decades. It’s like catching up with old friends when I reread the Stone Barrington and Kay Scarpetta novels. At other times I read health and self-help book  I use when I’m   researching the keto lifestyle and carnivore diet.

On this page, you will find books by aspiring new authors. I do this because I too am an aspiring author.  I believe in the author community there is a place for everyone. I am doing my part to help fellow authors, no fees and no strings attached. Often, as a self-published author trying to promote your book, you turn to social media. This is where the water turns murky. 

You get inundated with so-called book promoters. For a fee, they will read your book and give a review. They use fancy words like, “Marketing Research Analysis”. Some service providers operate legitimately, while others exploit new authors’ vulnerabilities.
